Wetsuits and rashguards are available all year at MSC for purchase and rent. However wetsuits are only necessary a few months out of the year. |
The water temperature in Mazatlan is always ideal and hardly ever requires the use of a wetsuit, with the exception of january, february and march (63-72 F) when a springsuit or wetsuit jacket might be needed to keep you warm, specially during early morning sessions. The types of wetsuits we offer are fullsuits, springsuits, and wetsuits jackets. Not all sizes are available so please inquire.
New suits vary in price, rentals are 10 usd a day.
Rashguards or lycras are another useful piece of equipment that every surfer or aspiring surfer should have. Why? Well, first of all, the sun’s harmful rays will toast your back if you do not wear one, and second if you haven’t been surfing for a long time, you will most likely get a really bad rash on your chest if you attempt to surf without one. If you surf with a wetsuit wearing a lycra underneath your suit will also prevent rash.
