Surfing Mazatlan in the summertime when the weather is fine...
That time of the year we all anticipate is almost here, summer brings a good amount of consistent quality surf to the Mazatlan region.
There are all types of surfspots in the area but the most predominant are leftpoints, as well as a few beachbreaks.
As far as equipment goes, your average shortboard will work fine here on good days and you will probably want to ride a mini-gun on bigger days. For the small days a fish will work good.
Don't forget your lycra shirt for UV protection and jumbo size sunscreen.
