According to several sources board fees on airplanes are expected to rise during 2008 due to increasing fuel costs, prices range from 50 to 150 dlls each way depending on your destination, it is advisable that you call your airline before you travel to avoid any surprises. Regular baggage is also subjetc to a 15 to 25 dlls fee when exceeding 1 piece, most airlines have different policies so make sure to check, airlines flying to Mazatlan are usually pretty good about dealing with boards (Mexicana, alaska, aerocalifornia) but it is still reccomendable that you ask if they will let you bring boards.
