The most recent event organized by the Surf Association in Sinaloa was held in good but inconsistent 3-4 ft waves at a well known left point near mazatlan, this was the second event of the year. These two events served as a good warm up for the Sinaloa team who competed in the Mexican nationals held at Cabo in the beginning of september 2008 where excellent results were obtained.
